ReplyDeleteI spent quite a bit of time in New York. I attended New York Central College. I didn't start out living there though. I was living with my mother's Chippewa Native American tribe.(My mother was Native American and my father was African American).
ReplyDeleteIn the picture of your school where was it located at? And where is the Ira Aldridge theater located, and is it used anymore? Because one day i would like to go visit the place named after you.
ReplyDeleteMy school was located in New York city. The theater that was named after me is located in Washington D.C and yes its still in use. Its actually a part of Howard University and they use it for plays and other activities. I recommend that you visit the theater you'll be very pleased.
ReplyDeleteI just love your pictures they are so wonderful! Your style is very interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like everyone adores you. You have your own theater named after you, gotmany roles in plays. I wish to see you perform one day. Also, I really love that self- portrait of you. I myself have a self- portrait too but it doesn't compare to yours.
ReplyDeleteThis is truly beautiful! You seem to have had a very successful career. I too had a book written about me, who was the author of yours? I am so impressed with how you over came adversity.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with Isadora! You seemed very successful and i am sure you still are.
ReplyDeleteEverthing is wonderful. Magnifico!
ReplyDeleteSorry for getting back so late Isadora, I've been so booked with these shows I've hardly had time for the wife and kids. The author of the book is a man named Brenth Lindfors.
